For me I admire Sanders for some of his economic stances,Tulsi Gabbard for her foreign policy stances and Ilhan Omar for her refusal to back down when it comes to criticizing Israel and its policies towards Palestine. I would never vote for any of them but I do like certain things about them and respect them for the stances they have taken. What about you?
He contributes to groups that help military vets and families find caregivers as well, like the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. He supports a group that aims to improve the way veterans and military families are perceived by the public in the United States—to be seen more as community assets and leaders.
Some of these guys are dead, but of the ones I can remember in my lifetime...
GHWB
Jack Kemp
Bob Dole
Nicki Haley
Mitt Romney
Mike Lee
Marco Rubio
John McCain
David Frum
Colin Powell
John Kasich
Chief Justice Roberts
GWB would be on the list if it weren't for that debacle in Iraq and the head of FEMA being some guy who's executive experience was being head of an Arabian Horse Association. Bloomberg would be on the list too if it weren't for the fact that he wasn't actually a Republican, his unabashed support for the Iraq War, stop-and-frisk, and seeking that last additional term (very anti-democratic).
I admired Daniel Patrick Moynihan, a Senator from NY. That was about 30 years ago. The Democrats have taken a turn towards extremism over the past few decades and it is not good for the party or the country.
Zell Miller too, but he was really the last dodo specimen of the now extinct conservative Democrat.

Alive and not alive.
I admire JFK, he was a true statesman and a working-class hero. He cut taxes and strived for equality. If he hadn't been assassinated we would have never had a Viet Nam escalation.
I like Tulsi Gabbard. She is the only one in the bunch with the brains to run this country. Ron Paul believes her to be the best candidate the left has to offer and I agree completely.
All the rest are boot licking shills, blowhards, and jackasses.

I only what I have read about Kennedy and I like some of his policies. I believe he was killed because he was going to get us out of Vietnam and because of his plan for the gold standard.
John Kasich. I can appreciate a moderate democrat.
