Sure, you have a right to dictate what people who get "handouts" eat.
And those subsidies we get for health insurance through our employers? (Handout). So the government as well as our insurance companies, and possibly our employers could dictate our habits as well. Perhaps they would make us buy our groceries on a card they will scan and monitor to ensure we didn't buy anything Bad.
Right folks? Be careful what you ask for. They are us, we are them.
This would all be a lot easier if we just did away with the food stamp cards loaded with free money and went to food vouchers instead. You want junk food for your kids, spend your own money on that crap.

It won't. Many food stamp recipients work. This usually means they aren't getting paid enough. And consider this. Fried food is very popular in Texas. Curbing food stamps won't stop people from frying food.

This bill could save lives in more ways than just encouraging healthy eating. Young black males will be far less likely to be shot by police who mistake a bag of Skittles for a Glock.

Exactly. Meanwhile, churches still don't pay taxes and POTUS still goes on vacation every weekend
