No. The American federal government shouldn't be saved. Keep spending, default on debt, collapse.

The penny plan is just a $404.8 Billion a year cut in public spending, and you would ultimately have to find services or infrastructure to cut.

The thing is, we could cut more than a penny by eliminating waste, corruption and repetitive programs. Politicians get much of their funding from this waste, corruption and repetitive programs.

We can't cut !!! Haven't people been listening ?
We have a duty to everyone but the tax paying citizens !!!
We will never be the healthcare provider for the rest of the world like Sleepy Creepy Joe wants doing that !!!
