Good for him! And the students.

Will the students have to pay taxes on this generous gift?

It's that people are, in general, greedy and selfish. They hate to see someone else get something that they didn't get. They're too concerned about "fairness." Totally reminds me of this:

Waiting for the first right winger to use the socialism term.
The biggest socialists in the planet are the billionaires. For example Bill Gates will likely redistribute 95% of his wealth before he dies. The rich also pay taxes to support social programs.

AND YET THE LEFT WANTS TO DeSTROY THE RICH.

Student loan debt is a major economic hurdle in the USA and it's an issue that few other developed nations face, because the cost of higher education in those countries is less burdensome.

The video showed not a single white graduate. Why are black only colleges allowed to exist and NOT white only?

Good for him anyway.

Let us know when a loan forgiveness spouting politician like Sanders or Warren does this with their own money

There are a few white students who attend Morehouse. And there are other universities that have only a few black or other minority students. People can apply to whatever colleges they want to.

I agree. I sacrificed my health and many opportunities just to ensure I paid the bills and tuition. Sometimes when I hear of stuff like this, I almost regret having been sensible and responsible in college.

Still a kind thing for him to do, but meh...
