Why would they do that?
A new political era truly is upon us.
The left skied into a tree. The tree is fine but they are a mess.
They thought they indoctrinated enough young people and had enough buy into the white self-loathing. They bet that mothers didn't love their sons. Add in the illegals and they were sure they were going to win in 2016. With no self reflection they are going to try it again in 2020.

Of all the things surrounding this mess, this is the most mind numbingly shocking. This is not part of journalism’s ethos. Whatever credibility those media outlets had is gone. We have lost the protection of the “mainstream” 4th estate.

The loss of the 4th estate is harmful and regrettable but this is also an opportunity, maybe a gift.
One that must be continually exposed. Seize the moment !!! Simply do better and they set the bar so low.
Here is an example of what I mean :
A commonly used word is deranged.
Sometimes a word gets overused and loses impact, becomes boring or stale and easily dismissed.
We need a new word or phrase for deranged.
I suggest Educational Brain Damaged ( EBD ) or Indoctrinated Brain Damaged ( IBD ). Its actually closer to the origin of the problem but more accurate and expressive of what is being dealt with than deranged. The derangement didn't just happen like spontaneous combustion. Its acquired through learning. Its being taught.
We have been exposed to the weakest, laziest media journalism full of Clichés, catch phrases, and chunk phrases.
Media has been trying to dumb the audience down. We don't have to accept their low standards.
