While it takes deputies 26 minutes to get there! Thank goodness she and her neighbor were able to exercise their 2nd Amendments rights to possibly save her life and the life of her children.

One of the hundreds of positive outcomes that will happen today due to gun ownership.

Good for her, I'm glad it had as good of an ending as can be hoped for.

That guy is very lucky she didn't turn him into swiss cheese.

He is crazy so now they have to worry about him coming back.

I'm glad it worked out for her in this particular case. Unfortunately, studies show that this is the rare exception.

I am in favor of increased availability of electronic security, along with publicly-provided classes in dialoguing techniques so that guns are not necessary.

26 min for a response is crazy but we do have some folks way out in the swamps and sticks. Good for her, who knows what would have happened otherwise.

Glad it worked out for her. What I take from this post is that we are OK when kids find unsecured guns in their homes and kills themselves or someone else if every once in a while, an adult uses the gun wisely.
