I suspect that a Trump fan would think nobody could compete with Trump.
BUT....that last election was mighty close. So many factors to consider.
And while you may feel strongly in support of Trump and some may feel strongly against Trump -- the votes that really count are the ones that don't have that strong feeling about Trump. We have no clue how they will vote.

It will be interesting to see if the perception that Trump is going to win big again holds true, or if the Trump side is shocked and his Presidency ends, and upended completely.
I suppose the key is turnout. However, which candidate will be the front runner? I think Biden has it locked down--if the primary were held this month.
But, there is plenty of time for the Democrats to plead their case, however, I have not heard one that is appealing to me so far--I vote independently--so we will see.

Well, most of those middle folk (like myself) generally don't *like* Trump. But we didn't like him in 2016 either. (I voted 3rd party in protest to the pair of horrible candidates as I live in a state that went like 60% for Trump so it didn't matter then or in 2020 either, although I did help elect Charise Davids to congress.)
Best advice I can give is to stop attacking voter demographics that occupy that middle segment.
Trump definitely angers certain voting blocks but they're small and typically already democrats.

Some might argue that Sanders, who is Jewish, is NOT "white" (which is a meaningless word) and IS part of a minority.

Bernie is an Ashkenazi Jew, which isn't the same thing as being ethnically Russian or Polish. Ashkenazi Jews have been subjected to discrimination and worse for centuries.
