Now they see in him someone who has glossed over Mr. Trump's misdeeds, smeared his investigators and positioned himself to possibly declassify information for political gain - not the Bill Barr they thought they knew. So which is the real William P. Barr? Is he the upright defender of the presidency who used his discretion to disclose nearly all of the 448-page Mueller report, even though it hurt Mr. Trump? Or is he a manipulator who has skewed the special counsel's evidence in Mr. Trump's favor and is now endorsing questionable legal arguments to fend off legitimate congressional inquiry?
AG Barr is one of the most well respected AG's ever, for his integrity, knowledge of the law and constitution and being a straight shooter. Dems just don't like that he won't play their games and is about to expose their Criminality.

He WAS. But then he stood in front of the American people and completely and totally misrepresented the Mueller report. To the point that Mueller had to make his own statement.
He has no integrity, if he ever did.
Let's not forget that he auditioned for the job by shopping around a memo in which he opined that there should be no constraints or investigation of the president.
He’s a straight shooter who released all of the Mueller Report he could because in his legal opinion it was the right thing to do. He is a straight shooter endorsing legal arguments against releasing Trump’s tax records because in his legal opinion it is the right thing to do. Truly unbiased individuals end up being accused of doing the wrong thing on both sides because they actually don’t allow their opinion to be swayed by which political side supports a position. It is unfortunate that so few in our nation currently understand the concept.
I can agree with part of this, but what I can't agree on was his book report version on the Mueller report. He did mislead the public into believing that the Mueller report exonerated Trump. If you read the report, you understand that just because Mueller couldn't find enough evidence of a crime, it doesn't mean that a crime wasn't committed. There is a great explanation of why he couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt, and that a sitting president can't be indicted. It is also clear that Congress is the only avenue for removing a corrupt president. Barr did hand over information to the Intelligence Committee, but he is also doing his best to slow walk documents. You have to understand why and we don't know the answer to that yet.

Pretty clear. He is not acting as a DOJ for the country. He is acting like a defense lawyer for Trump, and he is joining Trump in violating the Emoluments clause.

there would be no problem with Barr if he wasn't investigating the democrats crimes. then he would be just fine. Dems are fighting for their very existence as a party and to stay out of prison individually. forget Obama's legacy except he was the 'first'.
