to see if he can get his political opponents heads to explode, I guess. Because he thinks they will believe the opposite from the right: "That can't be right. Everybody knows black women are all stupid!" he expects to read.
And hey, it's been shown many times that there are folks on the left who WISH for bad things to happen, so their political opponent is weakened. I'm sure, from deduction of human behavior, that some on the right do the same...I just don't see it as often.
The article is incorrect in the sense that they are not the most educated group, but correct in the sense that among all groups (not just when compared to black males) currently enrolled in college/university they are the most represented group. If this trend continues, the headline will eventually become accurate a couple generations down the road.
Quote:
By both race and gender, a higher percentage of black women (9.7 per cent) is enrolled in college than any other group, including Asian women (8.7 per cent), white women (7.1 per cent) and white men (6.1 per cent)."
The sad thing is that the author of the article probably is too schooled, but too uneducated to understand the data and therefore thinks the headline and misrepresentation of the data is accurate.

Actually no, it's not even correct in that sense since those percentages are of the total group, not those who are college age. A higher percentage of blacks than others are in their teens and 20s. Also, mere enrollment in any college is a poor overall measure of education level.
