The amazing strategy of the right consists of labeling everything as communism or socialism.....oh, no, not everything. Giving 10's of billions to fossil fuel companies and soybean farmers...that's NOT socialism or communism, because Trump did it.

You see - anything he does is "approved" no matter what.

Think again. The blue states are actually help subsidize the red states. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I voted for Cali on this one. Our current Governor Inslee would set us on a similar path, in fact, he already has.

My family fled Communist Cuba in the 60's. I have a sister who still lives there with my nieces along with aunts, uncles & cousins who never made it to America. They would gladly give up living in Cuba to live in what some of you have dubbed "Commie California".
You people have no idea what true Communism is.

Mississippi by a Mile.

Mississippi's 2013 budget was $27,259,578.00 and 42% came from the federal government which is $11,449,022.76. THis has continued through 2018 and into 2019. There is your wall folks, in Mississippi, hope your happy.

That state survives by leaching off all other states. Worst GDP per capita of any state, they do nothing to attract industry, don't address the image problem the state has had for 100 years, and yet expect the Good states to bail them out.

How does a low tax southern state with an unemployment rate of 4.9% still have over half the state is on welfare? They are working but the jobs and wages are crap and Mississippi just stands there and watch. Mississippi should be licking the boots of business owners trying to lure them in. We see state after state going after businesses to relocate to their state, what does Mississippi do? Nothing because governing required work and break the good ol boy system.

They even tried to accuse those on welfare of being drug addict and forced testing, Guess what out of all recipients of welfare in Mississippi (and there are a lot) only 0.14 were positive, 8 people in 2013 before they scrapped it for being too expensive to run.

If Mississippi was a stand alone country it would be in Venezuela right now.

Those high welfare numbers come after Mississippi tried to block people from getting welfare with a near 90% rejection.
https://thinkprogress.org/mississipp...-57701ca3fb13/
"The numbers follow a disturbing trend in the state over the past several years. Between 2003 and 2010, according to a report by the Mississippi Low-Income Child Care Initiative (MLICCI), roughly half of the applicants to the state’s TANF program were rejected, already a large share of poor people denied assistance. But then in 2011, the rejection rate catapulted to 89 percent. It has gradually increased every year since"

Mississippi's State Flag should Read "Let the Feds handle it". The state seems ok with the current system of leeching and doing nothing.

Texas awaits you! Or MS, where - as shown - you will get the most possible from the Big Gubment.

Or Idaho, for that matter......

Unlike under "communism", we have freedom of movement...

I agree with our C-D poll lead: California in a landslide.

As for the other parts of our poll, I'm surprised that New York ended up third. What we've got in reality are California, Illinois, New York, and Washington State in a disturbing trend, all moving as far to the left as the east is from the west. Time for some grassroots efforts to rescue every one of those states and get them back towards Americanism and conservatism.

Probably I will leave at some point....I like the states you mentioned but I'll probably go to Arizona.
