The article below asserts that the desire to ban abortion stems primarily from fear over the decreasing white population. We have seen countless articles speaking about the decline of the non-Hispanic white population in the US. So does anyone believe the banning of abortion is an attempt to increase the white population? Or do you believe it is primarily a religious issue?
I believe the debate is primarily a religious one and raises separation of church and state issues. But perhaps that’s not the root of the matter...thoughts on the article/issue?

What is behind the bigotry masquerading as sanctimonious religiosity fervently opposed to abortion in the United States?
One motivation for US conservatives’ opposition to abortion – “a woman’s right to choose” – as stated by demographer Ben Wattenberg (in his increasingly neoconservative later years, after the 1970s), and cited by the wonderful educator, Jane Elliott (“White Fear”, in her anti-racism teachings, is that white supremacists’ great fear is over demographic dilution.
American conservatives’ opposition to abortion is not primarily concerned with preventing Blacks, Latinos, minorities and the poor from procreating too many — and “too costly” to the public purse — non-white babies, but in fact to prevent white women from producing too few white babies. 60% of the 1.6 million abortions annually in the United States are for white women.
The banning of abortion was exactly the policy of the Nazi regime in Germany, when bounties were paid for high fertility by acceptably white – “Aryan” – women. The fertility rate of Whites in Europe, in the U.S.A., in South Africa, and in Israel with its captive and concentration-encamped Palestine, is the lowest of all ethnicities/races....

I'm not telling anyone what they should be concerned with. I'm stating how I would feel.
I've heard no whites say they're afraid Mexicans are going to take their jobs. What I have heard are certain groups celebrating the reduction in the number of whites in the country - but the end result of that is not going to mean the same thing for all groups. Mexicans will benefit. I think it's naive to believe blacks will benefit from it.
White people aren't going to start procreating more or having fewer abortions just because they're going to be in the minority. Is something at play with the recent push against abortions? Probably so. I would be very interested in uncovering what that something is.

60% of abortions are by white women-yet whites make up ~70% of the population. Meaning that minorities (especially blacks) utilize abortion at a higher rate. It's not the white race that Margaret Sanger was out to depopulate.

Yeah...NO. It's because states like NY have legalized abortion up to birth which is NOT what Roe v Wade intended.
Why would you abort a baby that could live outside of the womb? At that point, delivering is safer than aborting. but no one wants to hear facts anymore. it's all about feelings.

"this forum" is hardly a statistically significant sample of "many whites". But I wouldn't expect you to understand that, so go ahead and continue to be racist and uninformed.
