Because our SCHOOLS are Democrat Union run, and don't want kids to know the truth. Also, our Media and Government don't want you to know the real reason for the Second Amendment. Hunting is not mentioned in it, nor is it mentioned anywhere in the writings of the time that justify it.

It’s up to parents to educate their children in certain matters, and to re-educate when necessary. When my daughter was in kindergarten, she said the teacher told them the “g-word” was not allowed. I was puzzled and asked what the g-word was. “Gun” came the answer. I had a long talk with that teacher and moved my girl to a private school the next year.
She’s 12 now and has guns of her own. Two rifles, one an AR, and I just bought her a handgun. She’s NRA trained and a crack shot.
