He could announce that he was naming American Pharaoh his next Attorney General, like Caligula naming a horse a Roman Counsel and his base would be good with it.
He didn't say anything about airports. Why are you lying about it?

He delivers it perfectly and I learned some of the compelling moments of history I hadn’t heard before.
Bravo to the parents who brought their children to hear it.
Well, watching the speech it certainly sounded like he said 'airports', and there are plenty of clips on YouTube one may view.
I can't decide what he meant to say. 'Something' ports, of course. Perhaps 'enemy' ports, but he misspoke while reading off the teleprompter (I imagine that airports was very much in his mind, since he was expecting various aircraft from surrounding air fields).
While it was a good speech, he really needs new speech writers. He spoke of the Doolittle raid in one sentence (not saying what the raid was), with the next sentence referring to Nazi's having built a fortress around Europe, but forgetting to put a 'roof on it'. The uninformed would be excused for thinking the Doolittle raid had something to do with the Nazis in Europe. A disjointed speech at times.
However, he did not get political, which the RNC was pleased at. If he had inserted politics, then the RNC may have been charged for much of the expenses.

When the birther-in-thief reads he is not even absorbing what he is reading. What is retained and understood while reading is how reading comprehension is measured and graded. Trump likely had a very low score on reading skill tests as a kid. We need not wonder why he threatened his schools not to release his grades.
Well, he did say the army "did everything it had to do." If that meant hopping in a time machine and launching a preemptive strike against British Colonial Airfields, so be it.
They did it all, folks. They manned the amports at Fort McHendry. They rammed the ramparts. They dirged the dirigibles and zapped the zeppelins.
Americans have flocked to DC for July 4th Only Trump and his fans believe that is because of Trump.
