Trump spent a lifetime criticizing our country - you have a double standard.
Two factors working against the dems on this one. One, the word "Racist" has been over used so much in the past decade that its pretty much lost its meaning. Same with " fascist". Two, the progressives have embraced racism and bigotry and anti Semitism so they can't claim any higher moral ground than the sewer on the issue. And with this bunch of gorgons, they're not going to get any converts even if people don't generally like what Trump said. Even to this day, Chicago has a significant problem with illegal aliens from Eastern European countries. They arrive in the US on the premise to visit family/friends but then stay in the US illegally and take construction/remodeling jobs away from US Citizens and LPRs by working for lower wages. They're told to go back to their country all the time. There's a HUGE amount of resentment towards them among US Citizen and LPR tradesmen.
