As an American, i personally feel like Israel just stood up and waived the American flag with dignity and respect.
Terrorists? That kind of hyperbole makes you look silly and undermines any point you might make. Let's use words as if they have meaning. In the mean time, go look in the dictionary and explain how they meet the definition of terrorist other than the fact that you are terrified by them.
Their itinerary said Palestine only. So they should've gone through Jordan as they were not visiting Israel. In reality they weren't banned from Israel as they had no intention of going there in the first place.
Have to wonder: Who would've been their security? The Palestine Authority or Mossad.
They were making a political statement meant to embarrass the White House and Israel with that itinerary. The itinerary had them visiting Tel Aviv on day one (to include flying into Tel Aviv and having meetings in Tel Aviv), so they clearly were visiting Israel. Those two nuts just view everything in that area as being "occupied Palestine"

If Israel wants to ban elected American officials, the US should react in kind. Extreme right wing Israeli politicians and religious fanatics that stymie regional peace and want to expand settlements on the West Bank should not be allowed entry in the US. At the top of the list would be Netanyahu.

But it also has antisemites in it; their influence is so strong that Pelosi was forced to change a resolution condemning the specific antisemitic statements of Omar and Tlaib to a general statement denouncing all forms of bigotry How the two coexist is beyond me, but they do. In short, the Democrat Congress is a mess!

Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib do not represent Congress or the United States. They are members of Congress, but that doesn't change what I wrote. They can choose to retaliate by not voting to provide financial and military support to Israel (those antisemites probably already cast such votes anyway), but that's the only recourse they have. Israel still respects and welcomes the actual Congressional leadership, to include Democrat Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader McConnell. Note, Israel hosted a bipartisan delegation of over 70 US Congresspersons last week and this week. This isn't about offending Congress. Its about preventing two antisemitic lawmakers access to Israel in accordance with Israeli law.
I have to say City Data forums is one of the last fair and balanced forums left on the internet that doesn’t unfairly censure conservatives.

I totally agree! Not only is it fair and balanced, but I've also seen a lot of decent debates without CD members screaming insults at each other like in other internet groups. Great forum with great members and moderators.
