A CNN talking head thinks there's something odd about President Trump.

Now THAT'S headline news!

Yes, most are in it for themselves, strokes their egos. For T it feeds his intense and pathological narcissism.

Democrats are going to fight like hell before they let them walk off the plantation.

He knows how to play his base and push their buttons to keep them loyal to him and hating the Democrats. He knows how to play to their fears of an America that is less white, less straight, and less fundamentalist and looks less like a Norman Rockwell painting from the 1950s. That is why he's been able to remain so popular.
Remain so popular -- define popular....he didn't have the popular vote.

Colbert, LOL, a b-grade funnyman who needs a huge staff of people to make him "funny". YAWN, just another Lefty spewing dreck.

And maybe that’s where they feel they can relate to him. Even though he’s not a victim.
It's possible. It's also possible that they like him because he sounds like a flounderingly uneducated guy. It's also possible they like him because he makes endless pie-in-the-sky promises. It's also possible they like him because he leads a recklessly self-centered life, insulting people, groping women, backing out of deals.

^^^^^

Amazing.

A strong President would let the criticisms roll off of his or her back and refrain from 'punching down'.

Trump's reactions aren't displays of backbone.

They're because he's thin skinned and insecure, and is seemingly incapable of keeping himself from reacting.

People in other countries notice this.

The 'Trump Baby Blimp" came from outside of the United States.

Trump's reaction to the blimp....."I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, no reason for me to go to London"........... .........poor little Trump.
