When asked about the map issue, a NOAA spokesperson told NBC to "Please contact the White House Press Office." The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the map from NBC News.

The white house was asked and did not answer.

So if Trump was right, why did the NHC feel it necessary to immediately let AL know the info was incorrect and was not in danger of being affected by the storm?

Nobody uses old weather forecasts, and especially a president sending out an official notice of warning should not be. He's too damn lazy to educate himself on anything, so he just spouts off the wrong info from an older forecast without thinking.

And that is one of Trump's biggest problems. He never thinks--just emotes ignorantly.

How are the democrats taking Trump down with this? We're just talking about him acting the fool over his ill-informed hurricane projection. That he won't let die, BTW.

What does that have to do with why they didn't ask about the original conflict of information?

He's not going to answer them now after they have mocked him for a week except when he wants to lol.

Most of us would have told the press to go F themselves by now.

And here it is today, Sept 6th, and you're still using the Aug 29th map to try to convince anyone who'll listen, that tRump wasn't blowing smoke. How come?

He can't help himself. He's a compulsive liar. It's his default setting.

Stupid is as stupid does, according to a well-known Alabamian.

And this is just plain dumb.

Ranting and raving for days afterwards that it WASN'T dumb is psychotic.

I find it so funny how Trump supporters will not let this thing go either. Trump and his supporters deserve each other. Trump could say the world is flat and the sky is green and we would see posts on this forum agreeing with him. Crazy stuff, I tell ya.
