If other states quit busing them to California we'd have fewer of them, California should start going after the agencies from other states paying for free transportation for the homeless to California. The homeless escaped their red state hell holes and came here to camp on our streets. Because conditions are so horrible in Middle America that they'd rather be homeless in paradise than live back home in purgatory.
We have nice weather 365 and rich people, the red staters come to panhandle and sleep on the sidewalks. Instead of fixing the symptoms, fix the cause. Fix red states.
Heck, they're not even homeless back in Middle America, but they came and they found out they can't afford to live anywhere and they don't want to leave. As long as California is so much better than the rest of the country, the homeless or soon-to-be-homeless will keep coming here.

The once bright spots in California, Oregan, and Washington, are starting to look more like Detroit, South Chicago, and Baltimore.
