Obama was president from Jan 2009 – Jan 2017.
Trump was president from Jan 2017 to present.

Our deficits decreased during Obama's time in office, and our deficits increased during Trumps time in office.

How did Obama add $10 trillion dollars to our national debt ??

Obama added $2.7 trillion dollars to our national debt from 2013-2022 by extending 82% of the Bush tax cuts.
Budget Deal Makes Permanent 82 Percent of President Bush

And Obama added $831 billion dollars to our national debt with his 2009 stimulus.

The above Obama policies added about $2.2 trillion dollars to our national debt during his time in office.

Can you explain how Obama added the additional $7.8 trillion dollars to our debt as you claim he did?
Answer: No (because Obama did not add $10 trillion to our debt)

Well maybe you can quote an economist that agrees with your point. Maybe we should just do away with another trillion in taxes since you claim only spending can increase the deficit. You sound like the right person to serve on Trumps economic council since they don’t worry much about lack of revenue.

Those numbers are not correct. 1.4T was the highest, not the average, and Trumps average is actually higher than Obamas.

Also, 6 out of the 8 years, GOP controlled the purse.

You really need an economist to teach you:

X - 0 = X

I can find a first geade teacher to help you with that.

It's 100% true. Do you need me to show you the math?

Show me a single example of debt without spending.

No, it’s 100% irrelevant.

Spending = Revenue in a balanced budget.

Which means that if Revenue>Spending, one won’t have debt.

Likewise, if Spending is less than Revenue, one won’t have debt.

I’m not going to beat my head against a brick wall any more unless you can come up with an economist that supports your opinion
