This surprised me as I thought they were a progressive audience. I guess 2 years of constant nevertrumpers and center right democrats causes your main audience to change.

Also upper middle class democrats hate Bernie.

Well I think the hate is a result of rumors and gossip/speculation.

You build a character of a greedy old man who made millions off of preaching socialism.

His life is much more interesting if you dig deeper, he worked dozens of blue collar jobs, was politically active since the 1960s, and has been consistent for decades never selling out to lobbyists or the corporate media for a promotion.

One of the key tenets of Mahayana Buddhism is to not participate in idle gossip.

One of the key tenets of anarcho-communism or anarcho-syndicalism is to not participate in condoning or promoting the legitimacy of the State.

I just try to think what type of world I want to live in, and how I can move us along in that direction.

And if I can't do anything, oh well.

Political ideologies have their limitations.

(btw, I'm not voting for Bernie, I just appreciate his morals). Actually the only candidate I would voter for is Marianne Williamson.

Which makes zero sense.

Bernie is an independent because he doesn't think either party represents him.

During election year he runs to bring his issues to the forefront of the debate and maybe even win.

He runs as a democrat and not a republican so he doesn't split the vote in a general election.

Shouldn't party insiders be thankful he doesn't run as an independent? Or do they just hate people not sticking with the beltway culture of a two party rule.

???

A couple of people cheered what wasn't even an 'attack'.

There was immediately a much stronger and louder cheer when someone directly counter argued.

But you know it's what's called people having their own opinions and minds. I know this is hard to remember after 3 years of the base following Trump like sheep.

Poor Bernie.

Try taking the unwarranted vitriol that Donald Trump puts up with on a daily basis.
