Let's be honest here. Those kids were destined for an early grave or jail. The question was how many others they were going to kill, maim or scar enroute. They were failed early on and frankly a great argument for never having had them....*cough*.
I was pointing out the usual "B.S." these deceased criminals families say when they commit crimes. OBVIOUSLY my comment about the parents not questioning themselves slipped by you somehow?

Next time 3 robbers come to your house at 4 am make sure you exercise what you learned in your mandatory diversity training. Give your home to the robbers and run off into the night with your tail between your legs.

of course not. Let's say they were not in the process of committing a felony, rather they were out collecting donations for the Bahamas in broad daylight. And upon entering some kook's yard, he feels threatened and unloads a gun into all 3 of them.

You don't think it wouldn't be 99.99% "convict the kook"? And compassion for the youth working to make the world a better place?

You people are truly twisted.

There are certainly a high percentage of the people, given anecdotal and statistical data, who think "well, their life of crime is over, and that's a good thing."

But under-18 crimes are supposed to be shoplifting, stealing stuff when nobody's looking, vandalism/pranks, getting in fist fights, drug and alcohol use and breaking traffic laws.

They're not "put on a mask for the purposes of robbing someone by force" (see, whether the other 2 had a gun or knew #1 had a gun, they went there intending to commit a felony)

I'm from California , no they would not , if someone enters your property and shoots at you ' and you fire back ' at the attackers you are innocent and off the hook.

I haven't read all the posts on this thread, but shockingly it isn't filled with cries that the boys were victims and the gun owner a gun nut. Perhaps there is hope for society yet?

I have seen some complain that there has been some joy at the deaths of the 3 thugs. They were only 15 we hear.

They were 3 young men aged 15, wearing masks at 4 am, allegedly attempting to rob someone. WE can only guess at the is point as to their motivations.

I will celebrate 3 thugs dying while plying their (Chosen) trade. I suspect those crying "but they were only 15" also have no problem with Planned parenthood performing abortions on a 15 yearly girl without her parents consent or even informing them. My point is, either you understand right from wrong at 15 or you dont. I think at 15 most of us knew that you dont go around robbing people at 4 am while wearing masks. The thugs got exactly what they had coming and the homeowner has saved society a great deal of money for a trial and incarceration. This folks is a modern day happy ending.

As for the families of the thugs. They raised them. Obviously had no control over them. Why else are they out at 4 am? Where was their give a damn then?

One of the neighbors interviewed made the statement “You live by the sword, you die by the sword”. That isn’t celebrating the death of these teens but they put themselves in this situation.
