Three dead people, and 2 weapons were recovered.
Sounds like a couple of them were unarmed.
I am no legal expert, but if the shooting happened like the pro-gun folks are all hoping, the homeowner is under no obligation to make sure all three would-be-robbers are armed before defending himself. Given that it was 4 am and dark, I don't think shooting anyone in the back as they run away would mean charges.

All that assumes it was a legit shooting which we do not for sure yet

300 people attended a candle light vigil for the 3 dead robbers.

I still have questions. It sounds like the folks with the homeowner left before the police showed up probably because they were fine, upstanding citizens who were doing nothing wrong. I also want to know why the homeowner has not been identified yet while the 15 year olds have.

I said it before, but typically criminals rob from other criminals. It seems the 15 year olds were targeting the homeowners. Why? What did they think he had that they wanted?

Maybe the homeowner has not been identified for his own protection. If 300 people showed up to honor these hoods, they might go after the HO.

You don't think those local to the area can't figure out who was involved?

Sure they know. We knew here an hour after a homeowner shot two home invaders who everyone was, but the police waited three days to release names. The police still have the policy of withholding names for the HOs protection.

It's ironic watching anti-gun types defending armed shooters, just because the intended victims fought back.

Had the teens that prepared with guns and masks instead slaughtered the 3 guys plus one other that happened to be there, they would have instead bemoaned another mass shooting.

The fact that many ghoulishly depend on race to determine their views on the scenario is sad.

IMO, homeowner even if a drug dealer targeted by an armed masked trio...I frankly don't care that some of them may have been shot in the back. They willfully engaged in the armed attack if not attempted murder, that it went bad for them and they tried to escape matters little to me.

Doesn’t matter. No I don’t personally care about criminals, they was in his property, he had every right to gun them down. Blame the kids and parents. Not the shooter. It’s his garage they was in, they deserved their fate.

I do not blame instant shooting on trespassers, you do not know their intent or their weapons if they have any.
Shoot first ask later. You’re within you’re right for defense.
