The phone or computer you're reading this on wouldn't be here without fossil fuels.

And it doesn't do me any good to stop drilling holes in the boat if the other guys on the boat (China, Russia, India, etc) are just going to keep drilling holes on their end.
The world runs on fossil fuels, but not for much longer...

Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos announced Thursday the company placed an order for 100,000 electric delivery vans from Plymouth-based automotive technology company Rivian.

You are making way too much sense for this forum.

Bezos, the ultimate hypocrite virtue signaler. Amazon makes all of its profit from AWS, huge, energy-sink data centers, but flys the green flag for its non-profit merchandise operations.

Again, why don’t the Democrats do SOMETHING?

All the things I listed do NOT require approval or consent from ANY REPUBLICAN including the President. Yet, the Democrats refuse to do ANYTHING.

They talk about the world ending in 11 years, more of a threat than WWII, but total silence on actually doing something.

Talk, talk, talk, talk.....I don’t think the Democrats believe in Climate Change except as a political issue for the youth vote.

Because doing is a whole lot harder than blowing hot air. If Warren gets in, and the House goes deep blue and the Senate is 65-35 in favor of the Dems, do you think we'd be going into a Green Utopia?

Nope. It'd be too hard. Seriously. They'd tinker around the edges and say "see, we're doing something!" and move on to more pressing issues, like health care, education, etc.

Protesting and bitching about something is infinitely easier than taking action. I'm sure we all know people like that, unfortunalty for us a lot of those type of people join the Government.

Nothing should happen over night.

There should be a thoughtful approach to improving air, water quality on the planet.

But that's how I think any govt. policy should be approached.

Thoughtful, reasonable policy...not big grand gestures for show.

Is 55 MPH a “big grand gesture”?? We had 55 MPH to save lives and oil for 22 years. It is only in 1995 that it was left to each state Governor to set speed limits again.

Is repealing the “illegal” Boeing tax breaks a “big grand gesture”?? Isn’t just fixing a mistake??

One correction, the Democrats are NOT talking about improving air and water quality on the planet. They are talking about reducing CO2 emissions.
