I disagree, I think it is conveyed just fine. My opinion is that this is being used/hijacked to enact other things not related to the environment, but of course the environment being the reasoning for it. Pretty much every solution, despite decades of progress to reducing pollution, is that everyone basically needs to pay more, way more, and to ban things. It all comes down to the theory which I support is that the communists fled to the environmental movement to continue their goals.
So you agree that protecting the environment is an important issue, and that using fossil fuels are increasing CO2 levels which is impacting our climate? If that is the case why don't politicians who support capitalism do something about it? Oh right they are bought out by the fossil fuel industry and other mega corporations who benefit from the status quo.
Also I don't think switching to renewable resources promotes communism. Communism as understood in the modern sense is about handing over the reins of the means of production from the elites/oligarchs/business men, to the government (which in theory would mean the people since the government works for the people). Now what will switching to renewable sources mean? Will there be a nationalized energy provider? No. So then how can this be communism? In fact it will be so anti communism that people will have the ability to create their own energy and not only not rely on the currently energy monopolies, but also the government. At it's fundamental core I don't see how switching over to renewable resources is communist?
Sure maybe some of the policies that will be implemented will be a bit forceful, but that in it's self is not communist, unless all federal mandates are? Was Nixon a communist for signing the clean air act of 1970?
as others have pointed out, Greta thunberg has a history of depression, eating disorders, anxiety attacks, autism, and OCD. She also suffers from selective mutism.
Why is this child being exploited by adults to push their climate agenda??
Shame on the adults using her and possibly harming her for their own political purposes. what these people are doing to this young girl is child abuse and cruel in my opinion.

People can belittle her and others all they want but these kids are our future and thank god they care. We can have the technology and the finest things in the world but if we don’t take care of this planet then none of that matters.
The US have been increasing steadily production of gas and oil sin 2007, and it is expected to continue this trend. American corporations pollute water ways with plastics and chemicals worldwide, modern farming is really bad for the environment, trading ships are one of the largest polluters, etc.
It's not about saving the earth. It's about control of energy: thus control of economies.

She should sail to china and have a sit down with their govt, maybe NKorea while she is in that hemisphere and then sail on to the middle east

What does "go after her" mean? Is she above criticism because of her age? That might explain why she is being used as the face of the movement and not an adult.

Yet again...you fall into their trap. Explain why nobody is allowed to question a childs opinions and actions on this. Let alone an autistic child with ADD and various other issues. Do you even understand how you are being used? To set up a child as an infallible deity on a subject is pure manipulation and propaganda that you have fallen hook, line, and sinker for.

I have seen little to no fact-based, mature disagreement, though. Most comments are attacking her directly or suggesting some kind of left-wing conspiracy, neither of which is a legitimate argument.
