maybe not and I say maybe, but I have certainly heard 10-11 years as a window to make corrections or the climate will be past the point of no return. Talk about spin.

Scientists get things wrong from time to time, but that's why we have the scientific process.

That is the time estimated that the global temperature will be 1.5C above the twentieth century average....The world will not end, but human civilization will begin to have a tough time if steps are not taken to stop the rising temperature.

Because that's what science is. There would be no point in becoming a scientist if you were just going to make things up. There's not much money in it. Any fame you achieved by pushing a fake theory would eventually end in embarrassment.

You heard correctly. The goal of the IFCC was to keep warming below 1.5C by the year 2100. Scientists say if we don't take action in the next 10 years, we're never going to make that goal. Why do you call that spin?

Scientists do not say that the world is going to end if we go above 1.5C in 2100. Scientists do not say that we should spend trillions of dollars and eliminate fossil fuels to avoid this. Scientists do not say that their models are perfect and no way can their predictions be wrong.

They're just reporting the facts - we gathered data, put it in our models and this is what it predicted. Any spin comes from politicians.

Since we all agree that all the world's bodies of salt-water are connected and thus will rise together, here's a question for the true believers. Why is the water level at the dock on Barnegat Bay where I kept a boat fifty years ago no higher now than it was then? Here's the answer. It isn't. Now run along.

Hundreds of scientists and engineers tell U.N. “there is no climate emergency.”
https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2...mit-no-emerge/

I’m an independent senior who leans conservative.
I was an environmental activist in my youth, and still always prefer to err on the side of protecting the environment.
There is still so much unknown regarding climate change and humananity’s part in it.
But the left is making a huge mistake by using hysteria, anarchy, and dishonesty instead of rational based non political debate and enquiry around any climate change.

Deniers are professionals at cherry picking.

They still can’t produce their own peer-reviewed research though. Gee, I wonder why?

I mean, all the Climate Change stuff came out HARD right around the time a certain guy that rhymes with Pepstein suddenly offed himself.

News doesn't just happen, it's always manufactured.
