As far as the Rep party being a shadow of what it once was I would agree. Notice the way the Rep. fight back in the media these days. Do you ever remember Romney fighting back?
How about the second debate where the moderator clearly overstepped her role? Trump would have blasted her. Romney sheepishly said nothing.
The media by and large isn't supportive of the Rep party and that's fine. They can do as they please but if you're a Rep politician you'd better be willing to fight back. Do not let the media dictate the rules or play political referee.
Trump understood this from day one and other Rep. politicians are finally catching on.

He originally was angry with the freeze and it sure appears that he changed his mind, they are petrified to take on Trump even at the expense of truth. Maybe you can come up with a theory for his about face at least Todd finally got an answer, Johnson didn't know and no longer cares.
