Every president for the last 40+ years has released their personal tax records to ensure full transparency.

Trump said he would be the most transparent president in history and 11 times said he would release his tax records before taking office.

Fast forward a few years, and Donald Trump is now going all the way to the supreme court to fight having to release his tax records. Multiple federal judges have ORDERED Trump to turn over his tax records, and Donald is fighting back as hard as he can.

Why?

He supposedly did work on Trump construction sites during some summers when he was a kid, and Don Jr has said that he (Don Jr.) started working at the dock at the Trump Marina in Atlantic City when he was 14, and theat he thinks he's likely the only son of a billionaire who knows how to drive a D10 Caterpillar better than he can drive a golf cart.

I think he should release them because he promised to, but I can understand wanting to 'flip the bird' re something that isn't required.

In his shoes, I wouldn't release them, but then I also never would have promised to in the first place.

Does anyone else on here see where many Trump haters use all sorts of insulting names for Trump, then complain about HIS name calling and are NEVER called out by other libs on here?
1. 'Trump haters' aren't the POTUS. Trump is the POTUS. Most people expect better behavior from the POTUS than from the 'average joe'.

2. Trump brings being called names upon himself with his behavior.

I suspect he will be indicted for fraud by the Manhattan DA once he leaves office. There may even be an interesting legal fight over whether a President can be criminally indicted on State charges while sitting in office - a question the Second Circuit expressly left unanswered in the Mazars matter.

My view on this isn’t about liking or disliking Trump, but rather just my guess about what the DA will find and do.

About what?

Actually, he is dominating the news cycle, virtually every day, and has been since he came down the escalator back in June 2015. He is beating the Democrat left and the media at their own game, because he is obviously much better at it than they are.

Clearly, he is enjoying his mastery of these slimy arrogant people with an immensity that it is probably hard for most people to fathom. And many people are very much enjoying watching him do this with the mastery that he does it.
