RIP. He marched alongside Martin Luther King and was beaten and arrested in Alabama for protesting eaual rights for black people.

Cummings is the epitome of an American patriot, he spent his entire adult life fighting for equality of those who were considered lesser than.

Just switched the channel to Joe & Mika. They were doing a good job with the feigned tears. Mika is taking it hard.

He was a bought and paid for RACE HUCKSTER who spread hate and lies his entire career. A corrupt career politician that perpetuated divisiveness for his own benefit.

Wow. Prayers for family. Yes deep void - like him or not he contributed much and was an active voice. Some congressmen stay under their desks and are just yes men. We have lost a great leader.

Good to see the negative comments, just remember to apply them equally when one of your own team members kicks it.

People who make a career living off of your tax dollars while using that same money to subjugate you, are not worthy of praise, dead or alive.

Sad day for his friends and family, hopefully he's replaced in Congress by someone better so this tragedy can have a silver lining.
