Read your own post. Until it GOES TO THE SENATE there is no impeachment trial where discovery can occur. That requires a VOTE IN THE HOUSE to PASS the Articles of Impeachment. No articles, no Senate, no impeachment. JUST TALK and accusation.

You are confused.
  1. Rudy Giuliani publicly announces planned trip to Ukraine April, 2019, pressing a debunked conspiracy theory.
  2. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch was recalled from her post May 6, 2019, no successor named.
  3. Donald Trump claimed on a Fox News interview May 19, 2019 that Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was after his son. That claim has been proven false. (Hunter Biden did not join the board until after the money laundering episode by the company owner took place, and Biden was not implicated in any crimes nor the subject of any investigation.)
  4. Petro Poroshenko leaves office officially on May 20, 2019, replaced by Volodymyr Zelenskyj
  5. Allocated funding for military aid is withheld sometime in this period, no public explanation is given and the Pentagon is not informed of the reason.
  6. Text messages between US diplomats discussing the withholding of military aid (until an investigation into Joe Biden is publicly announced by Ukraine) start floating back and forth. Meanwhile Zelenskyj wants the weaponry released and presses for a phone call and meeting with president Trump, this is discussed in the text messages.
  7. The troublesome phone call between Trump and Zelenskyj takes place on June 25, 2019. White House lawyers make the public record inaccessible by hiding the transcript in a server with no outside connections set aside for covert operations.
  8. Whistleblower complaint is filed August 12, 2019. The complaint is diverted and tabled instead of forwarded according to the law.

A line-by-line analysis of the report that triggered the Ukraine scandal

Funds to Ukraine are finally released September 11, 2019.

There is nothing about any of this that goes back three years, the entire episode is enclosed within a few months of the 2019 calendar year. This is not connected to anything else Donald J. Trump may or may not have done in the past.

I wonder why he was ordered to make such statement ? lol.
And remember he is talking " extended " in the shadow of Mueller's 3 year marathon flop & fizzle .
Nervous Nancy will walk a tightrope thru the land of faux impeachment as long as the ankle biting Cathy Griffin , Madonna style drugged and vaped fanatics remain ignorant to what she is not doing .
Think Mueller Inquiry 2.0 .

I know what my own post says.

The impeachment happens in the House of Representatives, the vote to impeach is exclusive to the House. The House has the responsibility to gather evidence in order to make the decision, this is why the investigation is called an inquiry. The House will take statements and testimony while calling for and gathering relevant documents. If carried by vote, the public official being investigated is said to be impeached. That step completes the duties delegated to the House in the constitution. The state of being impeached is not removal from public office, think of it as the equivalent of an indictment.

Conviction is the sole prerogative of the Senate, that requires a trial in the Senate. The evidence gathered in the House is then laid out before the Senate with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presiding.

If two-thirds of the Senators vote to convict, then the public official is removed from office and barred from serving in any capacity in the future.

Why is this so hard for you to understand?

You are really being dense, aren't you? The impeachment starts with the VOTE for articles of impeachment in the House, but the Impeachment TRIAL starts in the SENATE. The House just votes to send it to the Senate. Until the vote happens and the Articles of Impeachment are PASSED there is no impeachment nor investigation. Duh!

Nervous Nancy may be nervous but she is far more politically astute than the typical drugged & vaped out pitch fork carrying
squad enthusiast .
She is not going to be the first speaker of the house to lose the house twice .

... You can't subpoena and do true discovery until the Article of Impeachment are approved. This is just talk and hearsay until they vote and pass the articles of impeachment. You're a mixed up. Read the law.
In an earlier post today I asked you to "Please now quote what you are referring to above with attribution or a link."

Thus far you have done nothing of the sort. Instead you hurl petty insults.

If you are not well informed on the topic just admit it, or do some research and come back with references. The world isn't going to bend and curl around the peculiarities of your imagination. You can distort your own perception of things, but you can't actually change them with wishful thinking. I stand by my posts.
