Feds to probe possible voter fraud in Florida

Residents receiving false letters questioning citizenship, officials say

Quote:
Voters are getting letters that look like they are from local elections offices, questioning their citizenship. But Local 6 has learned the letters are fake, and they are going out across Central Florida and other parts of the state.

Officials said the voters who have received the letters thus far are white, registered Republicans who consistently vote in elections.

Sounds like someone is trying to be funny, or at the very least, dishing out a little payback.

You know, for stuff like this:

I will translate. If its against minorities, dead people, or illegals its voter fraud. They should not be disinfranchised from their right to vote for obama. If its against conservatives its just funny. Its not hard to figure out.

It's just hard to lower my intelligence level that far.

The actual incidences of voter fraud are so few as to be statistically insignificant.
I think people are really confused as to what constitutes voter fraud. In order for fraud to be committed, one has to have voted either under someone else's name, a false name or as an ineligible voter - a felon or non-citizen, for example.
Registering under a false name is not voter fraud unless that person tries to vote using that name.

Purging voter roles is not voter fraud.
Challenging someone's right to vote, even for less than noble reasons, is not voter fraud.

democrats are trying to get illegals easy access to voting because they know that only minorities or die hard liberals will vote for them this time.

Then why were Liberals in an uproar over it and why did Eric Holder want to stop it in Florida?

Ummm...sending out BOGUS letters that are faked to look like they came from the Elections Board is ILLEGAL!!!

Why do you think the article's title called it fraud?

Calling a presidential race results for a state a hr before that states polls close when the race is to close to call is also fraud. Dems are not the only ones who can look back to that florida vote. But that was "just an accident"
