The judge in the “Baby Body Parts” trial of activist and journalist David Daleiden has ordered the jury find him guilty of trespassing at Planned Parenthood conferences and clinics — before the jury retired to consider a verdict.

Planned Parenthood is suing Daleiden and his colleagues after they released secretly recorded videos of executives haggling over the sale and price of baby body parts from abortions in their facilities.

Planned Parenthood is monstrous.

That's great news for David Daleiden. If jury convicts and that's what the judge really ordered the jury to do, he just won his appeal.

Monstrous describes pro-lifers who misrepresent the facts or outright lie to further their own agenda.

The Daily Wire is a conservative-biased website.

Here is some basic information about Planned Parenthood: They receive reasonable reimbursement for tissue donation as permitted by law.

Ultimately, there is no way to "stop" women from having abortions, even if it's made illegal. It will still go on. It's very futile to try and "stop" abortion. Women own their bodies, period.

I suggest they stop spreading their legs.

So I guess you are okay with women who smoke meth while pregnant? After all, they "own their own bodies."

Maybe, maybe not. It's called a 'directed verdict', and AFAIK, judges always have this option available to them.

Whether this judge was correct to issue a directed verdict in this trial, I have no opinion. But there's nothing inherently wrong with a judge issuing a directed verdict.

As your own link explains, a directed verdict of guilty in a criminal trial is not allowed as it violates the constitutional right to a trial by jury. Remember juries have the right of jury nullification even if the evidence is clear against a defendant.
