If you could travel back in time to 1988 and vote, who would you vote for? (Ron Paul, Iraq)

Easily, I would vote for Dukakis again. Bush opened the door to his son’s governorship here in Texas and ultimate ascendancy of him to the POTUS (which practically destroyed this country and divided it even more). And Jeb to Florida governorship. Not to mention that he involved us in the first Iraq war without toppling Saddam Hussein. This left it up to his son W to avenge his father’s mistake. Since then, we have been involved with useless, costly wars that never end.
I voted for GHWB and regretted every waking moment after he took office. He put the NEO in Neocon. We had just come off a Reagan high and believed he would continue it. Little did we know. We've had nothing but Liar's in Chief since.
I should have voted for Ron Paul!

I was just 21 when I voted for Reagan. I wasn't into politics, nor should anyone younger than 21, to be honest.
Knowing only what I knew then i would vote for Bush, like i did at the time. Knowing what i know now well honestly i wouldn't be bothering to vote i would be playing the stock market and pursuing that girl who got away. The Presidential vote wouldn't even make my top ten.
1988 and 2008 were the only two presidential elections that I did not vote in, that I was eligible to vote.
I would make the same choice today as then -- not voting.
