Amazing, how Doug Ducey very aggressive COVID-19 containment strategy has brought the numbers down 85% with-in a month.

I have been looking at the numbers county by county in California and they are not even making in effort to lessen the spread.

I wonder how Gavin "Jair Bolsonaro" Newsom is going to ignore the COVID-19 crisis that is turning much of his state into a big Elmhurst hospital.

Meanwhile, California the public health director has resigned as the state was caught not counting hundreds of thousands of tests that were both positive and negative.

Wow, Arizona down from 4,800 cases per day on July 1 down to just 600 and they have been testing very aggressively. Well over 7 million people reside in the state of Arizona

Meanwhile, just one county in California with barely 900,000 residents had a whopping 857 cases because of the California lifestyle of people crowding in tremendous numbers into small houses.

I wonder what the numbers are going to look like in much of California after they add the numbers of the hundreds of thousands of test results they were hiding from the public.

California can't get COVID-19 under control because of the way the people are. The governor is a cheerleader telling poor women and men to have the biggest families they can which causes massive amounts of children under one roof in mutiple generations with parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles.

With exception of far northern California and San Francisco it is incrdible the amount of babies can have.

Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, Tulare, Stockton and many others rolled out the red-carpet and invited COVID-19 to spread because their cities have a very percentage of the population that is young which has 100x the amount of viral load of older adults.

One post not enough for you?

We've covered this: A big reason for the infections in Arizona dropping is simply that they're running out of willing victims. It is not (necessarily or exclusively) about what they're leaders did / are doing.

AZ has 7M people, and 4000 deaths - that's 571 deaths per million. When CA approaches that number, they, too, will slow down. I didn't see you bashing AZ back in July when they were losing 14 people per million per day. That'd be the equivalent of CA losing 500 people PER DAY. That has not happened.

I get that you're trying to make a vehicle out of COVID to campaign against whichever minority you think is having the most babies, but your statistics are horribly wrong, so your other conclusions probably are too.

Arizona was getting more cases in May but we were told it was due to reopening. The positivity soared in June and early July. Positivity is going down, slowly. It has been rather consistent at 12% in general and 14% for PCR tests. I do notice that the amount of tests processed are down as are testing locations. The virus is out there.
