It was a foregone conclusion that Kennedy was going to lose the '64 Election in a landslide, so they had no dog in that fight.

Not possible. There was and still is an unwritten agreement between certain countries not to conduct assassinations.

Not possible. Castro lacked the resources.

False.
Oswald was an intelligence operative who infiltrated pro-Castro organizations under the direction of the CIA.
That's why those documents are still classified and not scheduled for review until the year 2029.
However, any President, by virtue of their position, may order the review or declassification and release of any classified documents for any reason or no reason at all.
Which Presidents have done that?
NONE.

The MAFIA were neither the Principals nor the Conspirators.
Having said that, the Civello Family (Dallas) provided soft support to the Conspirators.
The Civello Family had on their payroll a Secret Service Agent at the Dallas Field Office, which is how and why Kennedy's driver got replaced at the last minute.
The Civello Family also had a number of Dallas police officers on their payroll.
One of those police officers "borrowed" Dallas PD radios for the 4 assassins.
That is an undisputed fact and my guess is it was J D Tippitt.
Another Dallas police officer, a motorcycle cop in the motorcade was given the task of signalling the assassins by keying the microphone on his radio.
He was also told to keep the radio mic keyed until the motorcade reached the triple-overpass to buy time for the assassins to escape.
That is an undisputed fact, too.
It's possible the Civello Family, as well as the Families in New Orleans and Tampa provided lists of potential assassins willing to carry out the task, or that they imported assassins from Sicily or Calabria, as may have provided safe-houses as well.

Yes, that would be an example of hard support.
Other police on the Civello Family payroll were supposed to make sure the patsy Oswald died before being arrested.
Oswald had to be silenced because he was told to order the rifle through a mail order catalog by one of the Conspirators or a go-between in order to implicate Oswald.
The second Oswald says, "
So-and-so told me to order the rifle" the whole conspiracy collapses and unravels.
