600K fewer legal immigrants will be allowed in this year than Obama's last year, per the article. Balance that against the job losses, and you tell me which is more important.
See post No. 20 about the lump of labor fallacy you are fallen for.

John Leguizamo slammed Latino support of President Trump in a new interview with Real Time’s Bill Maher.

On Friday, the Critical Thinking actor and director appeared virtually on HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher and responded to a report suggesting that President Trump is popular among young Latino voters.

“There was an article I saw in the paper this week that talked about how ... Trump is doing rather well with with young Latino men because of the machismo factor. I see you shaking your head,” Maher told Leguizamo, likely citing an Oct. 14 New York Times article stating that nearly 30 percent of Hispanic voters say they support him, “despite his anti-immigration rhetoric and policies.”

What's really happening is that Latinos/Hispanics, and blacks are realizing more and more that America desperately needs a border wall to protect the jobs of Latinos/Hispanics and blacks already here! Not only will MILLIONS more illegals come here DEMANDING their "rights" and free stuff, they'll ALSO be willing to work even cheaper than folks already here! Trump/AMERICA 2020

Why do people on the left think everyone HAS to think like them?

Fracking expanded during the Obama years. Biden came out for fracking with an eventual phase-out.

As for Leguizamo, a few years back, we went to see his play "Latino History for Morons". He could resist trashing Trump during the play and pushing support for illegal aliens. This was a play on Broadway. So, the minute he went into his TDS rant, I expect the entire audience to start cheering. The interesting thing was about half the audience cheered. I looked around me and saw Latinos who were not cheering at all.

The man has a bad case of TDS.

Legal immigration is plummeting, stymying growth in the labor force and threatening the US’s ability to attract global talent and recover from the coronavirus-induced recession.

Trump and many of his supporters fall for the notion that everything is a zero sum game. Economists call it the lump of labor fallacy ...which is the misconception that there is a fixed amount of work to be done within an economy which can be distributed to create more or fewer jobs.

About half of U.S. based Fortune 500 companies were started by American immigrants or their children.

Legal Immigrants, not illegal aliens Stop trying to blur the lines between the two. When you do that, you insult legal immigrants.

So, you think that allowing 1 million legal immigrants into this country per annum is a good thing? Such numbers are not sustainable in the long run. I thought all you libs were worried about the environment. Yet here you are cheerleading for more immigration while fretting over climate change. Talk about being a hypocrite.

I haven't fallen for anything.

Your very own link earlier said that employment-based immigration will increase. It's the asylees, chain migration, etc that goes down.

Some people may fall for your your fallacies, but I usually read what's linked before responding. As I did in this case.

Further, immigration admissions are obviously fluid and easily changed annually. When US citizens have rolled off unemployment, then those figures can be ramped back up.

And Zero f500 companies have been started by Illegal Immigrants. Dems, always changing the name trying to cover their mistakes; "Global warming" became "Climate Change". The "Affordable Health care act" should be the "Unaffordable health care act", and on and on.
