IIRC, it was two days after the 2016 election when the "Russian collusion" narrative was born. We spent years on that, along with a lot of taxpayer money and the loss of getting the actual business of the country done during that time.
Lots of accusations were flying around, and Republicans said ok, have your investigation. They did, and came up empty.
Now, we've got this thing with the Biden clan, which is a far greater scandal than a few facebook ads placed to sow division. Perhaps the greatest in our country's history, depending on how deep it goes. There's already more documentary evidence of these alleged crimes than we ever saw with the Trump/Russia thing, and it's just getting started.
Should the Bidens be investigated? If not, why not?
Of course they should. Joe Biden is running for the highest office in the nation. They do rather in depth background checks for some lowly jobs in America. They should be carefully investigating who Joe Biden is and what he is all about. If the laptop holds some kind of damning information on him, than it is our nation's duty and obligation to explore these details and decide what they mean.
Are some people seriously proposing that we should not know as much as possible about Joe Biden before potentially giving him the keys to the white house as well as all the responsibilities that go with that???
The Bidens are being investigated. The FBI has the information. The DOJ knows what the Bidens, and the Clintons for that matter, did.
The question is whether justice is something that our government will take steps to uphold, or are there some people who are above the law.
If nothing is done here in this instance, at a minimum with Hunter Biden, then the term "Justice" should be banished from the national lexicon. It is a concept that people might discuss in a historical sense, but no longer in a current one.
This scandal is being totally ignored by the MSM and democrats in general.
It will be hard to conduct any kind of investigation of the Biden's, especially if Biden gets elected and appoints a new Attorney General and the democrats get control of both houses of Congress.
Remember Trump made a phone call and was impeached but Biden was catch on video tape doing the same thing and was praised by the left for doing the right thing.

What I find interesting its the New York Post and Newmax and the other left leaning news sources and blacked out coverage. That in my opinion is a scandal in its self.

Democrats and the media lie aggressively, relentlessly and unconscionably, without hesitation or remorse. The bigger the lie the better. They are apparently never more pleased with themselves than when they are lying straight through their teeth in the most outrageous manner they can contrive, in front of the largest audience that they can muster.
This comment by the Democrats that they believe that 'no one above the law' is just another one of these lies.
Senate Republicans issued a report after their investigation and found nothing.
DOJ has not made any formal statement verifying the 'new evidence' that has been out there since September. Bannon claims he told Trump in September. If you believe Trump wouldn't have moved on that information if it was legit back then.

If this 'scandal' had any substance to it, there would be official proceedings by this administration.
