It is not adding up(pun intended)

Explain in a rational fashion why the biggest States population wise have counted 99.999999999% of their ballots, but smaller states are into day 10 counting votes.

A blind man can see what's going on.

The amount of time it takes to count is going to depend on the laws of the state.

In some states all mail in ballots must be received before the election date. In others mail in ballots can be received on election day. In most mail in ballots can be received and counted some time after election day(provided they are post marked by election day).

In addition there are issues as to when the votes can be counted.

In some states mail in ballots can be counted as they come in. In others they can not be counted till after election day or after other types of ballots have been counted.

Then there is ballot curing where some states give you get the chance to fix errors on your ballot by a certain date.

And finally recounts which can be automatic(if the winner does not win by enough) or requested by candidate, or court ordered.

For IL

Early voting can be counted but not posted Before Election day.

Mail in ballots can be prepared to count but can not be counted till 7p.m. on Election day

In Person election day ballots are counted throughout the day on election day.

Mail in ballots with a Nov 3. post date could be counted as late as Nov. 17.

Mail in ballots can be cured up to 14 days past the election and the state must notify you of the rejection in 2 days

So technically IL isn't done yet with the counting.

You've clearly never heard of the 80/20 rule.

The last few percent always takes the longest, in any election.

The only thing that's going on here is your orange colored glasses still preventing your from seeing reality.

We must have had the 20/80 rule then and more efficient.
Count all the absentee ballots first.
Then we had a paper ballot count....
The state with the population of Texas.

You do realize that it was the Republicans who blocked PA from counting mail in ballots first, right?

They probably dont realize that Republicans blocked repeated requests for better funding for it too for both election safety and security either. They just seem to ignore reality.

Ballots harvested from graveyards and nursing homes tend to take a little longer to process. Be patient.
