Joe Biden has made race a big factor in his choices for cabinet positions. Trying to fill his cabinet with a large amount of “firsts”. It seems that it is a very popular decision. Do you think that race should be a factor when determining cabinet positions or is this a form of reverse discrimination?
I'm not White and I'm not a lowkey racist White at that, however its ALL about merit for me. The whole race game has made things in America much worse and we're even reverting in a lot of ways.
I don't think people should be picked solely for their race or ethnicity.
I do think that it would be beneficial for this country if both elected and appointed positions were a better reflection of the populace as a whole. I don't think there should be quotas, but I also don't buy that the best person to fill the position is almost always going to be a white dude.
Black is beautiful and Black Lives Matter...thus blacks should fill most positions! Not whites! Not Latinos! Not Native Americans! Not Asians! ONLY blacks! The ONLY qualification for appointments should be color!

Excluding 60% of the population because of their skin color does a disservice to the nation. 1 only has to look back at history to see what people from that group have contributed to the nation the last 200+ years.
