That photo OP with US congressmen traveling around in gun boats was absurd, what did they accomplish other than to point out it's a bad situation. They wasted all those resources to come to the conclusion that we don't have enough facilities.
Do you have any pics of what the conditions were like on the Mexican side of the border?
What are the senators suggesting to make the situation better? I understand the criticism but that doesn’t really make anything better.

Other people's problem is not our problem? Why are we rewarding them for BREAKING our country's laws?
Let's take care of the problem here at home first, we have many of them. Let's take care of the veterans. We have ~20 veteran killed him/herself each and every day in this country. Let's take care of the people who defense your freedom instead of someone who break the laws. Set the priority straight.

How did Trump create this problem? He was building a wall, not promising an amnesty, enforcing our immigration laws on the border and internally and making bogus asylum seekers wait in Mexico so WTH are you talking about? There was no crisis under Trump recently. Biden did away with all those good policies and that incentivized these people to come here. You've got it arse backwards!
Provide immediate secure delivery of all immigrants to all politicians, celebrities / media industry personnel and corporate leaders in support of open borders to their home addresses. Especially if they have multiple residences. Provide all immigrants tents and sleeping bags to be constructed on politicians and celebrities properties.
Register and let the children go to the school systems which their children or grandchildren are attending. If the elites of the U.S.A. support the illegal immigrants then they must be subject to the consequences. They go to their children's and grand children's schools. They fill out I -864 forms to be their sponsors and are responsible for them.

Many Republicans want our border secured and our immigration laws enforced and no amnesty. If Biden and the Democrats hadn't bucked that simple solution there wouldn't be a crisis on our border right now.

Yeah, let's just shelter anyone who manages to crash our border at the taxpayer's expense instead of disallowing them entry into our country. Yeah, that's a great solution......not! More staffing, yeah that's another great solution that the taxpayer will have to fund.....not!
I don't know if it's legal or not but it's not in the best interests of the citizens of this country and that's all that matters. Last I heard the president is supposed to protect the interests of the citizens of this country that he's supposedly the leader of not foreign law breakers.
