As you know, TGBU... I am no fan of Biden, but as for whether or not hyper inflation is on the way...
Nobody knows. It hasn't happened yet, even after all these decades of borrow, print $$, and spend.
The initial cost of the interstate highway system was over $100B. That's over $500B today. It has paid for itself many times over in productivity. That doesn't include convenience. A quarter of the power grid is over 40 years old; dams are aging, many over 80 years old. We have kicked the can down the road for too long, the longer we wait, the more it will cost.
What is the alternative? The GOP had four years to come up with a plan and did nothing. Bush II proposed privatizing the interstate highway system. That of course went nowhere since it would have meant toll roads. One way or another we have to have an infrastructure system that is meant for the 21st century.
The way this stupid bubble in housing has been spreading around to even medium sized US cities, I'd say hyperinflation is already here. Except oh, that's right, housing is conveniently not included in the "measurements" of inflation because, yeah, who actually needs a roof over there head?
Isn't this the same guy who was cheerleading Trump's infrastructure spending? Like literally people flip flop depending who is in office. People are fanboys not actual people guided by any viewpoints or philosophies
