The irony here being that under natural law there actually could be a justification for the INITIAL shooting.
Quote:
Holmes (security guard) and the victim argued about the mask policy and the victim eventually left. He then turned around and walked back in. When he did, Holmes met him with a drawn handgun and shot him, Auguste said.
Violation of property rights is the highest of all crimes after homicide. Unfortunately statist law doesn’t consider property rights of any importance ergo the use of this “no mask is a weapon” argument.
In any event, I’m very pleased a violator of natural rights was shot.
The effectiveness of surgical masks was confirmed in a new study conducted by Yale and Stanford researchers that tracked more than 340,000 adults in Bangladesh. Among the subset of people who wore masks, there was a 9.3% reduction in symptomatic COVID; those who did get sick experienced a 11.9% reduction in COVID symptoms. The study’s authors believe symptomatic infections would have decreased even more dramatically if everybody in the sample group wore a mask.
There was a thread last week about an LAPD cop punched a handcuffed & maskless dude in the face after he spit (yes, SPIT as in bodily fluid) at the cop. The anti-cop/pro-mask leftists want that cop’s head on the plate.
Does this seem reasonable to you? If masks really help that much shouldn't we allow this as self defense?
"reportedly shot a man"
Emphasis on "reportedly"!
