Why not impeach both?

Pelosi proved you don't need any legitimate basis for impeachment.

I totally agree with you. When Paul Ryan became Speaker of the House I recall thinking "Now don't mess up!" We all know how that turned out. The GOP needs to stop pandering to it's radical fringe. Any notion of nominating Trump in 2024 is political suicide. If the GOP wants to retake the White House it needs to develop wider appeal to working Americans, independents, minorities and the LGBT community. The results of the 2019 elections are an indicator of that the Republican Party will become irrelevant if it doesn't make some ideological adjustments.

2022 R's win the house and its not even going to be close, 50+ swing. Senate more difficult as the D's are not nearly as exposed there in 2022. 2024 the Senate is a completely different story as the D's have too many seats to defend compared to the R's and leads to a big R win in 2024. 2021 is about blocking the ridiculous bills from the left and holding on to the momentum into midterms.

Because it looks childish and angers moderates whom are currently not happy with Biden.

It can even motivate moderate dems that aren't happy with Biden\Harris but will rally if you attack them.

We'll see if Republican leadership is smarter than Pelosi was.

The key is the younger voters. Few post here but they hold the future.
Want to know how they think- go on reddit.
Most don't care about Afghanistan, border issues are of medium importance,
This may come as surprise, but they are not turned off as much as you by the progressive members.
They care a whole lot about the national debt
They care a whole lot about the environment
They care a whole lot about healthcare
They care a whole lot about pro choice
Unfortunately many young people disregard national security because they falsely believe it's not their problem or it doesn't effect them. The results of the retreat from Afghanistan may not impact many Americans directly but it sent a clear messages to our enemies that our current commander in chief is weak. Sadly, many young people have been indoctrinated to the merits of socialism and Marxism at the political indoctrination centers that America's colleges and universities have become. In reality the progressives in Congress promise much but deliver very little.

The national debt should be everyone's concern. Future generations will be paying for the fiscal transgressions of both the Democrats and Republicans for decades if we don't get a handle on the deficit. I consider myself an environmentalist but the New Green Deal as it's currently written is impractical and unrealistic. It's drafters are attempting to do to much too quickly. Medicare for All is a pipe dream. As a military veteran I've seen how well a "Medicare for All" system works at the micro level. It's called the Veteran Administration health care system where veterans may wait for months for a specialty care appointment. Some may even die waiting for an appointment or die because of a misdiagonsis by an incompetent physician. The nation certainly needs healthcare reform but the solution isn't in socialized medicine or Medicare for All. Hucksters like Bernie Sanders purport the benefits of Medicare for All but in reality he'll never need to use it. As a U.S. senator whenever Sanders needs to go to the doctor one of his flunkies calls Walter Reed and gets him an appointment for the same day. I might support Medicare for All if members of Congress would be obliged to use it like the rest of us kulaks.

Pro choice? I think you and I both know that Roe vs Wade isn't going to be repealed. Young people are the nation's future but the sooner that they wake up and realize no one in Washington cares about their welfare more than they do the better off they'll be. It's easy to support progressivism when you're young, idealistic and poor. Attitudes often change as you mature. As a young friend recently told me "I abandoned all of that nonsense when I got a good job, bought my first house, had a baby, had a car note, household bills and began paying more than my fair in taxes!"

I agree that historically the Republicans (until Trump) played too nice. It is time to take the proverbial gloves off but I think we need to do so strategically. Impeachment of Biden would not be productive rather Republicans shoul agressively repeal / rollback any and all Democrat sponsored legislation over the last 20 years.

The GOP will capture Congress in 2022. When that happens, the moderate elements in this country will find Biden more appealing. If the Supreme Court strikes down abortion rights this spring that will be further impetus to some to support Biden in 2024. The right also hurts itself through its extremism. Chants like "Let's go Brandon" do not appeal to average people in this country. They instead remind people of January 6th.

Biden is down in the polls. He is far from out.
It's not just due to the virus. Which BTW, should have been a non-story for him by now, like H1N1 was for Obama. He was elected to "get rid of the virus". He failed. People remember his incompetence. You can't compare a fossil to 2 charismatic, smart figures like Obama and Bill.

If there's still any stagflation and high crime problems come 2024, the general public isn't going to care about abortion. Abbott is likely to get reelected even with the Texas bill.

The CIA? Under Obama, a man who actually voted for a Communist for President of the United States, John Brennan, was placed in charge of the CIA by none other then Borok Obama. The CIA is under the control of Leftist Democrats, nothing will happen to any Democrat.
