Ford, GM CEOs Among Those Invited By Biden To Discuss $1.75T 'Build Back Better' Legislation On Wednesday

General Motors Co (NYSE:GM) CEO Mary Barry and Ford Motor Co (NYSE:F) CEO Jim Farley are among key automotive and tech executives who will meet President Joe Biden at a White House meeting on Wednesday to discuss his signature $1.75 trillion Build Back Better (BBB) legislation, Reuters reported.

What Happened: Biden is expected to meet CEOs to discuss the ways the BBB legislation would help the U.S. economy in terms of competitiveness, worker productivity, lower inflation over the long-term, and improvements in business growth.
No big surprise I guess. Tesla actually builds electric cars that people are willing to spend their own money to buy. The last thing Biden wants to hear is that the free market actually works, when morons in the government actually get out of the way. Instead he wants to buy UAW votes by bribing people to buy UAW-built cars. Bribes paid for by American taxpayers. BTW-Tesla sells every car they can build, and has a months long backlog. All without government welfare (at this time anyway).

Keep in mind-by doing this, by favoring the UAW over non-union auto workers in this country, workers that make more than their UAW counterparts, he is crapping on the 90% of American workers that are not part of the union mafia. Hopefully they remember in November.

For that matter, Ford is selling all the Mach-Es they can produce and, like Tesla, has pre-orders for their electric trucks totaling several years of production. THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS WELFARE TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY EVs. Its all pandering and vote buying!
