Uniper SE has been told by Germany to boost natural gas imports even if it’s from Russia as it looks to meet demand, a sign of the tough choice for governments as they look to keep the lights on while also punishing Moscow for its war.
They were already getting that cash they just arent losing it. You cant expect these countries who were dependent on Russian oil/gas to stop buying cold turkey.

How bad will it get before these fools are impeached? Harris had another giggle fit on camera. These are not serious people and historically unfit for office…especially now.

Putin is creating minefields for these fools to stumble into. He’s not only getting g Ukraine back, he’s fracturing the US at the same time because of these fools.

it's going to look like this in the short term. Germany and Europe have a Russia Energy problem and are now in rehab. This is like a heroin junkie switching to methadone to prevent dope sickness.

Uniper, which relies on Russia for more than half of its gas under long-term contracts, also said Monday it will no longer sign such agreements with Russia, but would maintain existing contracts. The company plans to restart divesting its Russian power generation unit Unipro, which accounted for almost the fifth of earnings last year.
It takes a long time to turn an aircraft carrier, but once these new sources are established...there is no going back to Russia.

After the three impeachments of my lifetime I do think we have forgotten what it was supposed to be for

What part? I think I left a lot out to be honest.

The only thing worse than bad leadership is lack of leadership which we are seeing now. Germany is going to build a real military again because of no leadership from Biden. First time since WWII. Poland will end up handing those planes over to Ukraine despite Biden’s veto, just watch. When that happens we are nothing to the Europeans anymore. This is really bad.

Did Poland "want to" send planes or did they call the US Secretary of State's we must do something statements and put it on the US to do the swap? And in return Poland would get a comparable weapon with more manufacture's maintenance support.
