Here are the results from last night: https://www.270towin.com/2022-electi.../texas/primary

Republicans turned out 2 million voters, last night. The Democrats turned out 1 million voters.

Here were the primary results from 2018, in Texas: https://www.nytimes.com/elections/re...imary-election

This is significant. In 2018, Republicans only turned out 1.5 million votes in the primary, with Governor Abbott on the ballot. The Democrats turned out 1 million voters, the same amount that they did last night. That's an increase of 500,000 energized Republican voters.

Things are looking great for the Republican Party, this fall!

Is there some reason they're not? Biden won 46 percent of the vote in Texas, and his current approval rate in Texas per Civiqs is 29 percent. Of all the words I would use to describe "new Republican voters" in Texas, "magical" would rank about last.

And this is all despite reports of Republicans being shut out of certain voting precincts.

Dems internal polling shows they are in big trouble, and they know it.

When you have FAKE NEWS polls like ABC showing a Republican advantage of 13 points, you're talking record armageddon territory at that point.

Potentially 70 seats in the House alone.

And with Brandon's stagflation economy, I just don't see it getting better for them over the next several months.

What gave you the impression that these were new voters? More than likely, they've voted before and were motivated to turn out for this primary, whereas they hadn't in the past. It signifies the Republicans are more energized! Especially when they turned out 2:1.
