I have no idea what you mean about Thomas being one of the "nicest." It's not a justice's job to be "nice."
He was always considered to be one of the least qualified justices, had a very low rating from his peers, and of course there was the sexual scandal at the time. It was lucky for him that although there were many women ready to speak out against them, they weren't allowed. So Democrats have always had a low opinion of him. He must have had Thurgood Marshall spinning in his grave.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
The ringleader of this push to get him off the supreme court is none other than AOC.
That alone should tell you all one needs to know what this is all about.

He will not want to put his wife through an investigation, and would resign, paving the way for Biden to pick a liberal judge to replace Thomas.

I really hate when someone assumes that everyone else feels the same way they do. This is just one person stating their opinion. And their opinion doesn't speak for everyone. Judge Thomas has done nothing wrong so wanting him to die is disgusting. Democrats just want him to recuse himself from any January 6 court cases that may come before the court. It's about fairness and public trust. And the court has lost a lot of trust and respect.

They’ve been on this crusade for decades. No one gets worse treatment from Democrats than black conservatives. It’s disgusting how democrats behave towards them.
