And what "Russian tyranny" are you talking about exactly - I am not sure.
Ukraine was a free and separate state since 1991.
If being dependent on Russian economy ( since Ukraine didn't have its own gas as much as Russia did,) is what you call "tyranny," then this world is full of "tyranny and injustice" - yes, since some countries have natural resources and some don't.
So probably, Ukraine should have fought this "tyranny and injustice" starting with Qatar and Saudi Arabia instead.

Yes, exactly. The fact that they are fighting for democracy and freedom in Eastern Europe is not why they fight. They just fight do defend their country and their lives. The other part Europe and most of the US realize, which is why we help them.
It is one of the rare times it is both morally right and hugely beneficial to the free countries of the west to help Ukraine either expel Putin or be the biggest quagmire of the century for Russia. And historically Russia has deposed leaders who fail in military endeavors, and it’s not pretty. Putin may have to fake a win just to stay alive.

Different organizers. Not to us outside of the west coast, but within their sphere, VERY different. Oscars are super conservative, didn’t even take away Harvey Weinstein Oscars. Voters have a contingent of conservative actors and directors, small, but there.
Grammys is Musicians who are much more left leaning and progressive, even the older ones. Controversy is more welcome at the Grammy’s, traditionally.
