Anyways, have a good evening.

Let me rephrase.

The police protect money.

The poor don't have money so there's nothing to protect. Police protection of the poor is a category error.

It's not the cops job to protect you. It's yours. When seconds count, in minutes you can be dead.

The police protect nothing. Protection is not their job. They are a truncheon wielded by bureaucrats.

Everything a police officer does is at the behest of a bureaucrat serving their own individual whims and whimsy. Their daily tasking, their rules, their marching orders, every last bit of their job...all based on the desires of a bureaucrat.

Protection has nothing to do with bureaucrat whims. Amassing, preserving and growing their own power and wealth...that is all bureaucrats care about, and police are simply one of their tools for violence that helps them in that pursuit.

I didn't know police ask for a person's W-2 Form before helping them.

Police are hired to enforce the law. If you feel the law favors the rich over the poor, call your congressman. If you see that your city police are not enforcing the law properly... call your city administrators.

Only those laws that their bureaucrat masters deem necessary in their personal quest for power.

Do you think the poor are poor because of the rich??? Would the majority be any better off if there was no rich people to blame for other people's problems? How do poor people's problems get solved by eliminating the rich???

And aren't today's "poor" enjoying a better standard of living today than most kings 300 years ago? Comparing the poor even 100 years ago to today's poor (in America at least)... Well there is no comparison. There was no massive welfare state in those days.

No, the poor are poor for a reason, and they'll always be with us.

All I have seen of the legal system in action suggests it has two main functions.
1) Protect the social order, and especially the money system that is used to order society.
2) Resolve disputes and keep the peace.

Justice and fairness don't enter into the discussion except as rhetoric. If the legal system can keep the peace on the cheap by using arbitrators, non-enforcement of laws that would otherwise protect marginal people, plea bargains, etc. then it will. It does not seem truth or justice or fairness. It seeks peace on the cheap.

If however, you threaten the interests of those with money, the legal system swings into action. And God help you if you pose a threat to the government itself and not simply the benefactors of the government.

God Bless our men and women in Blue.
Anything less is an affront to the common decency of social order.
