Seems like Brett Favre and Mississippi’s governor don’t really care about the poor. The rich only care about themselves.

Disgusting. The Republican gov and Brett Favre stole from the poor. Children starved because of them.

Your title is misleading. Phil Bryant is not the current Governor of Mississippi.

Regardless, this is an example of what happens when government is given large sums of money to manage…

this is just so sad. And so many people thought so highly of Farve or however his name is spelled. Go down in flames you jerk!

They never said he was the current gov.

Much of the south is dirty, doesn't matter R or D.

Correct. It was implied, however, as both the former and current Governor of Mississippi are Republicans. The title of the article correctly stated that this involved the former Republican Governor and not the current Republican Governors

People wonder why some states stay poor and mismanaged, well here is an example. Corruption has no party affiliation as some seem to imply or think.

Being that Favre is a hardcore conservative and Trump supporter, it shows that conservatives want free stuff and get over in life just as much as anyone else. Barely not too many responses on this thread, but if the topic was about black and brown folks getting over on the system, it would be pages and pages of comments!!

Favre is as bad as fellow athlete and right wing Trump toadie Curt Schilling. They are first in line for government handouts but think the truly needy shouldn't get help. Schilling fleeced the stupid politicians of RI and its Republican Governor who gifted him $75M to relocate his video gaming company to the state. It was bankrupt and out of business within two years and unable to pay its debt. I know several people that worked with companies that serviced Schilling's business. They said it spent money like a drunken sailor. Schilling however was one of the first to recently complain about the Biden plan to forgive some student debt. He was then promptly taken to task for his hypocrisy.
