We do already. But someone with a suspended license due to a DUI can still get behind the wheel and cause others harm and often do. You can be like Mexico with very strict gun laws but higher gun homicide rates per capita than we do. And being out next door neighbor you make gun laws more strict you simply make selling guns more lucrative for the cartel.

You have to accept that sometimes horrible things happen. They will only effect a very small percentage of the population. That is life.

Millions of Americans like gaming. A small handful of people who like gaming go on mass shooting sprees. So the problem is not gaming. Nor will targeting gaming with higher taxes change the fact there there are sick individuals out there And making them sign an oath not to go on a mass shooting is a total waste of time.

Got to be one of the silliest comments I have ever read. Why don't have all Americans sign an oath that they will never break the law for any reason. Then all criminal activity would come to an end right?

The left just wants to raise takes and over regulate everyone instead of understanding there are over 100 million responsible gun owners. Its not their fault or responsibility for what happened in that school. Nor is the the fault of gun manufacturers.

Only way to have stopped that shooting is if the teacher was armed. An idea proposed in Texas and ridiculed by the left. The solution is more armed citizens not less.

Right now criminals are enabled and emboldened because they are not getting in trouble, they get notoriety, and maybe other perks as well.
Anyone who walks into a school and kills a bunch of kids is not going to be deterred by capital punishment. In fact he is probably hoping to die.

Excuses excuses. This country lacks the balls to enforce serious changes to keep it out of decline.
Biden says to "buy a shotgun" and discharge it into the air to scare off criminals. He needs to keep his mouth shut.

The problem I have with giving every teacher a gun is that it will greatly increase the chances of an accidental or other unplanned shooting in the school. It has been shown that if a homeowner has a gun, there is a greater probability that gun will kill or injure a family member than that it will be used against an intruder, simply because home invasions aren't that common. This same principle would be even more true in a school.

Armed security guards in schools, on the other hand, may not be a bad idea.

Biden's words are straight from his diminished mind and the shadow government who tells him what to say and do.

why not stand up to terrorist, gangs, violent felons, drug cartels and activist prosecutors and judges????

Do you suppose the killing in Chicago will see a drop if Biden has his way?

biden is financing the drug cartels who purchase weapons from anywhere on the globe they choose. They will not go through the trouble of filling out the paperwork to buy a gun. Plenty of off shore gun manufacturers.

Dems and media filled the air with hate and fear while condoning violence, removing the safety net of law enforcement and they wonder why all the violence.

RELEASE JV RECORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Open southern border has overwhelmed law enforcement at every level, there is not enough agents to track the horde of felons, terrorists and gang members who cross our open borders. Biden owns the daily slaughter in our country, most of it committed by gangs and violent felons released by activist prosecutors. leading cause of death fentanyl, not a peep from biden! Daily slaughter in our cities far outpaces the one off mass shooting by a country mile. Not a peep from Biden!

Apparently not the number of people killed by drugs and guns, only matters what method was used to kill them and what their demographic.... which must fit the dem political agenda.

Slam the borders shut!

Enforce gun laws currently on the books!

CA dem senator, Yee, an anti gun activist, sold weapons of war to anyone with cash. time to investigate anti gun activists!

biden told us, 'go buy a shotgun, fire it in the air to scare away perps'... such advice from the VP/senator/lawyer is not only dangerous, but will earn you an aggravated assault charge. so let's hear more of what he and his handlers have to say.

Long way until november, plenty of time to do more irreparable damage to our country.

The Gun Manufacturers Are NOT to Blame just like alcohol and car companies are not at fault when some drunk gets behind the wheel.

The MAJOR issue we are facing today when it comes to gun violence and these shootings IS The Democrat Party. For years now they have been reducing the sentences of criminals and letting them go.

I saw a relative yesterday and he had recently been talking with a Police Officer about a person in the neighborhood that has been causing problems and the cop admitted there was not much he could do and if he could then chances are a Liberal judge would toss it all. This has to be frustrating for the cops, to build a case, make the arrest, do the paperwork, go to court to testify and the judge lets the guilty guy go. WHY? Why do the Democrats want drug dealers, gang members and potentially dangerous people out in society?

Biden and the Democrats have the ability to start the crack down on these mass shootings by going into the inner cities and taking the Illegally owned guns out of there and locking up those that have them. Why aren't they doing this?

The problem is the Democrats. They are already calling for more restrictions on our gun Rights in response to the recent high profile shootings which means they are more than willing to crack down on the law abiding BUT they NEVER talk about cracking down on the criminals. They NEVER talking about putting the deranged and potentially dangerous people into detention centers where they can get help for their mental health issues. WHY?

I get that. My point was making it harder for law abiding citizens to buy or own guns is not going to save children's lives if someone decided to do what this guy did. Only way to stop them is if someone armed at the school does. Or you use metal detectors or whatever to not let someone with a gun on to school grounds.
